A Martinez (Ramon Montgomery) is headed back to The Bold and the Beautiful in 2012. The veteran soap actor will pop up for a still-undisclosed reason beginning in January.
Martinez first appeared on B&B in February 2011 in a short-term story arc as close friend and personal physician to Bill Spencer. At the time, B&B head honcho Bradley Bell admitted to being a fan of Martinez "for years."
Martinez began his daytime career on Santa Barbara in the role of Cruz Castillo. Martinez spent eight years on Santa Barbara. After a successful run on the primetime series L.A. Law and guest spots on other primetime shows, Martinez returned to daytime in 1999 as Roy DiLucca on General Hospital. Martinez remained in Port Charles for three years. Martinez also appeared on One Life to Live for several months in 2008 and 2009.
CBS Soaps In Depth reports that Martinez will first air on January 13.
