Opinions, critiques, and commentary about The Young and the Restless
Two Scoops is a weekly commentary column written by our staff of writers. Sometimes you might agree, and other times you might disagree. Either way, we love hearing your opinions, too, so be sure to send us your thoughts.
When it comes to what's happening on The Young and the Restless, everyone has an opinion -- and our Two Scoops columnists are no different. Every week, our commentators share their thoughts on everything that's taking place in Genoa City... the good, the bad, and everything in between.
If you're looking to be a little nostalgic, we've archived our Two Scoops columns from 2004 through the current week. Now, you can easily flip back through the pages of history to see how storylines were received when they first played out. Has time softened a rocky reception?

This past week on The Young and the Restless, several characters made life-altering decisions for seemingly no other reason than wanting to make a change in their (suddenly) mundane lives. Join our Two Scoops columnist as he discusses the impact their decisions had on the rest of Genoa City -- and what the fallout could mean for the future of B&R -- er, Y&R! Whether you consider yourself to be a bored troublemaker or part of "the rest of us" that are usually left to manage all the manifested drama, this column is for you!

There was no shortage of confessions this past week on The Young and the Restless. Tucker confessed his L.A. secrets to Ashley (at least some of them), Chelsea came clean with Adam, Jill forced a confession out of Lily, Audra dropped a bombshell on Noah, and Devon and Abby didn't even have the chance to confess their sins to Amanda and Chance when they were "caught in the act." Our Two Scoops columnist is here to break it all down for you.

We are all grieving with Abby. She has lost the love of her life, and she isn't coping well over her loss. Can Abby cope with raising Dominic on her own? Will ChancComm rally from Adam and Victor's attack? What will happen to Billy and Lily if ChancComm doesn't survive? Will Jack and Phyllis reunite, or will it be Nick and Phyllis again? Questions we all need answers to. Join our columnist who has questions, opinions to offer, and perhaps a speculation or two, in Two Scoops for this week.

Sally Spectra arrived in Genoa City and was ready to start a brand-new life with a brand-new job and, hopefully, a brand-new love. With her flair for fashion, should Sally join forces with Chelsea and Chloe? Since Summer was the first person she met, and since Summer only wants a man when she can't have him, could Sally eventually be linked up with Kyle? And no matter how much the eleven-year-old child in him pleaded, Adam moved ahead with his frightening plan for Newman Tower. Will the boy in Adam be able to stop the adult in time? And Chelsea's been kidnapped -- by someone very familiar to her. All this and more in Two Scoops.

The DNA results were in, and Dina was Theo's grandmother! Why was Kyle so determined to stop Theo from getting to know his own family? Was Kyle jealous? Or did he see Theo as a past version of himself back in his self-centered and power-hungry days. Kyle's reasoning was gone with the wind in Two Scoops.

Out with the old and in with the new as Phyllis' sexual escapades went from Billy to Nick in record time. Were Phyllis and Nick really that shallow, or were they just comforting each other after their breakups? But shouldn't Phyllis be more concerned about J.T.'s murder investigation? It's all about R-E-S-P-E-C-T in Two Scoops.
